Hello! It’s been a minute, but you know – who has time to write a diary over Christmas? Don’t write back and say you do it every day or something because you’ll just make me feel inadequate.

So what’s been happening spirituality wise?

Well, first of all, every hotel room I stay in or seat number or ticket I get is a variant of 11,111 or 1111, which everyone around me thinks is fascinating! I’d like to say this has always been the case, but it’s more of a recent thing. Even my hotel room at Butlins over new year was 111! 

I’ve not studied the numerology stuff yet. I do follow Jo Soley, who is an expert at this though, and I have learned that 1s are good and apparently can be a sign you’re on the right path. I’m not sure if the universe knew how much I was going to drink at Butlins as it would NOT have told me I was on the right path if it did know! Although my moves to the Steps tribute band were actually pretty good (I remembered all the dance to Tragedy) so maybe it was more about that.

Another thing that happened was a consultant that I don’t really know but that I’d been thinking I’d like to work with one day got in touch with me. He reached out and these are his exact words:

Hi Lisa. Hope you’re doing well!

I’ve had a consistent thought to reach out to you over the last few months. And to be fully transparent (I really don’t know any other way) I have no idea why. 

So I’m reaching out.

Again – I don’t know why. But I’m done with inaction due to not knowing the action. 

And to be clear, I’m not looking for business nor do I have any angle here. Just an angle to heed the promptings I’ve received to reach out.

So that’s weird, isn’t it because I DID want to connect. So again, I seem to be not manifesting stuff directly but getting others to manifest me! 

Talking of manifesting, I’m still working slowly through the Regan course. I still can’t cope with the clever voice NLP tricks I think she’s using, but I quite liked today’s lesson even though I found it challenging- she says there’s 2 types of manifesting- controlled and surrendered. If I do any, I definitely do the controlled one. I work out, for instance, what I want (a figure in a launch) then control every aspect of the process to make it happen. 

Regan does not like this way and says it limits things. What I’m supposed to do is say what I want, then not control how I get it. So just surrender that whatever is supposed to happen will happen. I just can’t see how this can possibly work, but I’m trying. 

I mean it would be nice to think I can just say £1m and not work out how I’m going to get it, but then do. A little cynical part of me thinks there’s a ‘get out clause’ lesson coming that says I might not get what I manifest because it’s not meant for me or something like that. I know I shouldn’t think this way, but it’s the lawyer in me. I see what’s coming!

The last thing today that I wanted to write about is energy. Some people think of it as woo and some really don’t put it into that bracket and think of it as science. I think I’ve always thought of it as a bit woo. Well, I’ve been doing lots of focusing on energy and I have to admit, I’ve seen some changes!

I can feel where there’s bad energy around me. I’ve always been able to but mostly I ignore it. Just like I ignore my intuition and everything else I should probably listen to! People have been in my spaces in the last year who don’t have good intentions around me and I think I’ve felt that. Towards the last quarter of last year, I started to really clean up the energy around me. I think it makes a huge difference. 

So, for instance, my team and I between us have a lot of friends in a lot of rooms and spaces, and we are often told of rooms where people are overheard talking negatively about me or gossiping about me. Now up to last year, we wouldn’t do anything about that. I’m never angry with people any more that do this because I understand it comes from a place of hurt, lack, envy or another emotion that can’t be nice to have. And often, the people that are the meanest about me become my best clients if they stick around long enough! They change their minds about me (I can’t tell you how many of my biggest cheerleaders started out as haters or cynics). 

But when we started cleaning up the energy around me last year, we decided that when we knew others were gossiping about me or anything where the energy wasn’t positive, we would block them. It doesn’t mean I wish anything but good for them, and if we were in a conference somewhere together I’d still be gracious and civil but that doesn’t mean I should have their negative energy in my spaces because I truly believe it can affect me. 

And it’s worked! We had a clean up and then in our latest membership launch it was amazing! The energy was so different. The people that we attracted in had amazing supportive energy. I’ve felt different. More alive in my spaces! So I’m getting more into energy than ever before because I want to see where it takes me if I follow only the good energy. It’s one part of the woo I can definitely get on board with.

I’m going to do some health woo stuff next because I need it. I’ll report back on how it goes!

  1. I love that you can get on board with this. I think of myself as a woo scientist 😂. Energy is definitely science but seems like woo because we can’t see it. But we absolutely can feel it and our body and brain will respond to it even if we don’t recognize it.
